Curling up with a good book in a cozy reading space is a wonderful way to relax. I love this reading chair at my Dad's house. There is a reading light that isn't shown in this picture.
I like my cozy reading spot to be near a window for natural light, and also I love having a fireplace nearby if possible.
I also enjoy reading in wingback chairs. When I have an opportunity to redo an area, I hope to duplicate this seating arrangement featured in another blog, TwistMyArmoire.com. on February 18, 2013. It is so lovely that I would enjoy sitting there to read, have coffee, talk to a friend, or just relax and watch the birds outside.

If I had just one seating area in my home, this would be my choice. It epitomizes coziness to me. I love the chairs - the two fabrics give the impression that the chairs have been worn and reupholstered. I think that adds to the ambience.
What are your thoughts about what kind of area you would choose, if you only had one small seating area?
